Seattle Collegian Application

Student Leadership is currently hiring students to work with the following programs:
- Student Websites and Publications (SWAP), which produces Seattle Central's student-run news outlet, The Seattle Collegian.

Eligibility requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled as a student at Seattle Central College for Spring 2024
- Must plan to enroll in at least 10 credits per quarter throughout the 2024-25 academic year (excluding Summer Quarter)
- Must be able to commit until the end of the academic year (until June 2025)
- Must have and maintain at least a 2.5 quarterly/cumulative GPA

*Additional requirement for SWAP editorial board members
- Cannot be a President or Vice President (2nd in leadership) of an active club. Applicant can still be a member of a club.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate a sincere eagerness to provide news for and serve students of all backgrounds and identities related to culture, ethnicity, religion, politics, gender, academic pursuits, and all other ways in which we define our uniqueness.

2. Write thoughtful and complete responses to each of the application questions.
3. Mark the interview dates (see below) on your calendar.

Timeline:
- Application deadline: Monday, May 8, 11:59PM PT
